·        Note: The Compact Oxford Online Dictionary defines ‘plagiarise’ as “take (the work or idea of someone else) and pass it off as one’s own”.  Since the two cases require some form of research using databases such as ProQuest, this does not mean that texts can be cut/copy and paste.  ALL assignments will be checked using google and ProQuest databases.   A plagiarized assignment will be failed automatically and the case will be referred to the Head of School and the prescribed authorities (http://info.anu.edu.au/policies/Codes_Of_Practice/Students/Other/Academic_Honesty.asp).

·        Note: Students should be extra vigilant in the team case and ensure that your team members did not submit a plagiarized section.
